There was once an old couple who lived in poverty. They had a goose, which laid a golden egg every day. The old couple sold the egg for money to get by each day.
One day, the old man decided to kill the goose and get all the eggs at once, so as to break out of the poverty cycle. So he took a knife and went outside.
The goose retaliated in self defense, which unfortunately caused the death of the old man.
The hearing continues today at the High Court.
